The cost you can expect to spend on any product or service varies widely based on where you live, the quality you desire, the time of year and many other factors.

It is perfectly okay to spend more on the important categories and less on the others. Your total budget never changes, but your individual expense categories are meant to shift as easily as these sliders.

Here's how to use the features calculator:

1.	Plug in your overall budget and number of guests and�Voila! It spits out a rough budget for each of your major wedding expenses.
2.	If you've already spent money on one of your categories you can "lock it" by clicking the lock beside that category. This lets you move the other categories without changing it.
3.	Activate the "Savings" category at the bottom by clicking the lock. This allows you to automatically transfer the cost reduction in any category to "Savings," making it easy and fun to track your savings as they grow.
4.	Rework your budget as many times as you want, then click "Create Summary" at the bottom and print out your wedding expenses for each category.
