So, to protect my business I've got to conceal my face.  If they find out who I am, they'll try to shut me down.  And I can't let that happen, because what I've got to tell you is too darn important!

It's my mission to help every bride plan her dream wedding...without getting overcharged in the process.  I'm sick and tired of the overpriced, overblown wedding industry that does nothing but take, take, take.  I teach brides how to take back their power and plan an unforgettable wedding at half the price.

I love helping people, running with my ghetto dogs, practicing yoga, and I am embarrassingly obsessed with hair removal.  I'm so darn perky that I was probably a cheerleader or a kindergarten teacher in a former life.

But never mind my "good girl" exterior...when it comes to sniffing out wedding discounts and giving the wedding industry what for, I'm all muscle.

The $10,000 Dream Wedding

When I got married I was twenty-four years old, so excited to marry the man of my dreams that I couldn't contain myself.  I knew I wanted my wedding to be unforgettable, fun and totally me.

It wasn't long before I figured out that planning a wedding is far more complicated and WAY more expensive than I ever imagined.  Everything was way outside my $10,000 budget.

After trying to save money on my wedding with the usual methods...referrals from family and friends, help from wedding vendors (HA!), reading books and surfing the internet...I came up empty.  

I was desperate.  Planning the wedding of my dreams for less than $10,000 seemed impossible.

That's when I got good and mad.  Sick and tired of the overpriced wedding industry that uses any excuse to rack up the price.  Frustrated with wedding vendors telling me I "needed" this or that upsell for my wedding, "or I'd regret it."

I got mad and I got determined.

I went behind the scenes of the wedding industry to dig up the dirt about how to get wedding discounts and uncover bargains most brides never even know about.  I mingled with the wedding insiders and learned their secrets...everything the wedding industry doesn't want you to know. 

The result? 

I planned the wedding of my dreams...complete with a gourmet caterer, photographer, designer wedding gown, flowers and the works...for less than $10,000!

Fast forward a few years.  I loved weddings so much that I was working as a wedding professional full time.  I started to notice the stress, frustration, anxiety brides were feeling trying to plan their weddings on a budget, especially during the Recession.

I started feeling guilty for being a part of the wedding industry that was causing them so much suffering...especially when I knew I could help them.

I didn't want to do it.  I was afraid it would ruin my wedding business.  But I couldn't stand to see brides spending 2-3 times more than they had to for their weddings.  

I started coaching and helping my brides save money, the same way I did on my own wedding.  It had worked for me and it worked for them, too!  Every one was able to save thousands on her wedding day.

My brides kept bugging me and bugging me to write a book revealing all the insider secrets and wedding discount tips I'd collected over the years.

The $10,000 Dream Wedding was born.

Believe me, life hasn't been easy for me since this book came out.  My so-called "friends" in the wedding industry called me a traitor and tried to drive me out of the business.  

But it's made me even more determined to share everything...especially the secrets they'd KILL to have me keep me mouth shut.
